Capital Punishment was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Minor on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Minor is still on wobbly legs! Can Centura finish him?
Centura finds Minor's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Minor flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Centura lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Minor will be OK.

Ace Centura tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Svensson feints and then cracks Gill's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gill down.
Gill connects with a leg kick. Svensson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gill has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Abobomination Training $700 13 LEGIT elite coaches in the buildup to the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Keyes is aggressively charging in as Armstrong backs up avoiding any damage. Armstrong tosses out a jab and Keyes runs right into it face first! Keyes is out cold! Armstrong dropped down on all fours and is barking in Keyes's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Thompson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thompson looks to throw the jab but Maximov is out of range.
Maximov misses with a hook to the body
and Thompson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A left lands for Thompson.
Maximov digs a good hook to Thompson's body.
Thompson connects with the punch.
Thompson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maximov misses with a combination
and Thompson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Maximov lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Thompson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maximov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thompson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maximov was covering up waiting for the punch and Thompson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Maximov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
