Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Straight Shooter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Straight Shooter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Hardy misses.
Shooter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hardy wants to get back to his feet.
Shooter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hardy wants to get back to full guard but Shooter has passed into side control. Hardy working to try and regain half guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Shooter throws some wild stikes that Hardy manages to avoid easily.
Hardy is trying to escape the mount.
Shooter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hardy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shooter thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy is looking for a sweep. Shooter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shooter lands strikes from half guard. Hardy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shooter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shooter's back!
Hardy is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Shooter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hardy defends well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hardy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 It looks like Straight Shooter has been cut. Shooter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hardy. Hardy lands with a straight right. Shooter didn't see that one coming. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hardy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hardy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hardy wants to control but Shooter is keeping him busy.
Hardy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shooter keeps working. Shooter is looking for a sweep.
Hardy tries for a kimura but Shooter is defending well.
Hardy is working to tighten is grip on Shooter's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shooter has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hardy is really squeezing tight and eventually Shooter passes out! Hardy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Placido. Graham ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Placido moves away. Placido with a body punch. A glancing blow. Placido uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Graham has time to react. Placido fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Graham on the side of the head. Placido avoids the body shot from Graham.
Placido lands a jab to the nose. Graham staying out of range there. Placido scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Placido throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Graham sees it coming and avoids it easily. Graham keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Placido. Placido lands a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Graham swings away with a body shot that misses
and Placido counters with a straight right hand. Placido scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Placido connects with a body shot. Placido with a nice cross. Graham avoids the body shot from Placido.

 Graham is rocked! Nice jab there from Placido. Graham is still on wobbly legs! Can Placido finish him? Placido dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Graham seems to have recovered his senses. Placido's corner calls for a 1-2. Placido obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Placido scores with a jab to the body. Placido lands a jab to Graham's midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Graham is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Placido changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Placido is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Placido throws a series of punches but Graham moves out of range. Placido scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd cheers as Placido lands an impressive looking overhand right. Graham doesn't seem phased though. A cross from Placido lands. Graham takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Graham ducks straight into an uppercut from Placido and tumbles to the canvas! It�s a flash knockdown though - Graham manages to regain guard straight away.
Placido postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Graham can do anything to dispel that myth.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Graham keeping moving, preventing Placido from controlling successfully. Placido in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Placido wants to control from the top but Graham keeps moving. Placido working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Placido controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Placido's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Placido connects with a couple of short punches.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Placido chips away with some ground and pound. Placido wants to control from the top but Graham keeps moving. Placido working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Graham's head. Placido scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Placido missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Graham is looking to stand up but Placido isn't so interested in that idea. Placido throwing strikes but missing. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramon Placido dominated that round. That's time! Placido's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Placido lands a jab to the nose. Placido scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Graham doesn't seem bothered though. Placido lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Placido lands a left and a right that send Graham crashing to the mat, dazed. Placido thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Placido scores with a hook to the body. Graham takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Placido lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Graham is looking to close the distance but Placido sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Graham crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Graham is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Tudor clobbers Baloyi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Tudor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Baloyi can do to turn this around? Tudor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Baloyi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tudor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tudor's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Tudor duly obliges.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baloyi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Baloyi might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Tudor has got the better of the exchanges. Tudor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baloyi on the side of the head. Baloyi misses with a takedown attempt and Tudor counters with a left to the body. Tudor connects with a body shot. Tudor throws out a powerful jab. Baloyi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Tudor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Baloyi has time to react. Tudor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tudor lands a nice hook to Baloyi's body. Baloyi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Peltomies throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stifler was covering up waiting for the punch and Peltomies finishes the takedown easily into guard. Peltomies seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stifler keeping moving, preventing Peltomies from controlling successfully. Peltomies is really struggling to control Stifler but he's trying to hold on to the position. Stifler wants to stand and escape but Peltomies is having none of it. Peltomies working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Peltomies wants to control from the top but Stifler keeps moving.

Stifler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peltomies gets slowly back to his feet. Steven Stifler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peltomies scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Peltomies is looking to take a break and control but Stifler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peltomies connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Stifler some visible discomfort.

Stifler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Peltomies tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stifler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stifler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Peltomies is breathing heavily.
 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stifler drops Peltomies with a beautiful combination! Peltomies stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stifler is looking for the KO! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stifler goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
 Peltomies is rocked! Peltomies walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Oh Peltomies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters circling - Stifler throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peltomies seems to have got his legs back now.
Stifler lands a left and a right that send Peltomies crashing to the mat, dazed. Stifler thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Stifler cracks Peltomies with a hook to the temple - Peltomies is on wobbly legs here! Stifler swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Peltomies falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Stifler wins by TKO!

Kaipainen creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zulu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Kaipainen throws a strike aimed at the side of Zulu's head but Zulu avoids it well.
