Krum has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hack is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brahe but Brahe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tim closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tim lands in his opponent's guard.

Tim shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brahe is trying to defend but Tim finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tycho Brahe.
