The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a leg kick which misses Thunstrom's front leg but catches the back leg as Thunstrom tries to avoid it.
Thunstrom throws a right and a left that Bob avoids nicely.
Bob just misses with a punch to the body.
Thunstrom misses with an uppercut.
Thunstrom checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Thunstrom has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Thunstrom throws a jab but it's blocked by Bob.
Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bob has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Thunstrom is landing a low percentage of strikes.

McGuire shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nice uppercut lands for McGuire. That snapped Iron's head back.
Crunch! McGuire slams his shin into Iron's torso.
Iron takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Iron is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zander McGuire.
Well Iron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
