 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trejo throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Trejo's shoulder, as Trejo tries to avoid the shot.
White instigates a clinch.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Trejo. Cletus White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White throws out a loose jab but Trejo uses good head movement to avoid it. Trejo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Raatikainen. A cross from Raatikainen lands. Wiggin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Raatikainen throws a head kick that half lands.
Raatikainen looks to land a left hand but Wiggin moved out of range nicely. Raatikainen misses with a hook. Raatikainen swings away with a leg kick that misses. The fighters circling - Wiggin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Raatikainen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
 Wiggin is rocked! Raatikainen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wiggin is still on wobbly legs! Can Raatikainen finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Raatikainen.
Wiggin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Raatikainen. Wiggin lands with a cross. Raatikainen throws an overhand right that drops Wiggin like a sack of potatoes! Raatikainen dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Moreno closes the distance and clinches. Moreno using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Putnam has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Moreno has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Putnam regains guard immediately. Putnam wants to sweep but no luck. Putnam wants to stand up but Moreno is controlling him. Putnam avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Putnam lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Putnam seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moreno. We've been hearing good reports from Moreno's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Putnam controlling from the full mount. Putnam looking to control but Moreno is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. It looks like Putnam might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
 OK we're going to have a standup here. Ronnie Putnam hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Putnam misses with a wild body shot.
Putnam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Putnam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Putnam tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Putnam is staying tight to Moreno's torso, preventing him from escaping.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Putnam controls the position from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moreno working the head and body with strikes.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrow throws a poor cross that misses
and Szczerbiec counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Morrow stalks Szczerbiec and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Szczerbiec's face. Szczerbiec staggers backwards, shaken. Morrow fails to land with a series of punches.
Morrow throws a head kick that misses and Szczerbiec counters with a stiff right hand. Morrow misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Szczerbiec counters with a stiff right hand. Szczerbiec lands a jab to the nose. Morrow misses with an uppercut. Morrow throws a left and a right that both miss
and Szczerbiec counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Szczerbiec ducks under a wild hook from Morrow. Szczerbiec moves forwards but Morrow connects with a nice, crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Szczerbiec thows a body shot but no joy. Morrow misses with an uppercut. Szczerbiec saw that one coming. Morrow throws a sloppy head kick and Szczerbiec moves out of range easily. Morrow misses with a right hand enabling Szczerbiec to counter with a crisp jab.

 Morrow is rocked! Szczerbiec feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Morrow crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mouse swinging wildly here.
Slice with a poor takedown and Mouse counters with a left and a right that stings Slice. Slice looks for a takedown but Mouse sprawls well. Mouse misses with a double jab.
Mouse shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mouse was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mouse has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Slice clinches with his opponent.
Slice stops a takedown attempt from Mouse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice fails to pull guard.

Mouse drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mouse slows the pace down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mouse goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Slice rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mouse's guard! Nice work there by Slice!
Mouse wriggles free and stands up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Mouse. Slice is looking to clinch. Slice looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mouse enables Slice to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mouse manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mouse wants to stand up but Slice is controlling him. Slice trying to control the position from guard on top but Mouse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slice wants to pass the guard but Mouse is keeping the position. Slice forces his way into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mouse reverses the position - he's now on top in Slice's guard. Mouse sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Slice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mouse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mouse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slice has a closed guard, preventing Mouse from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mouse trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Tekken Slice wasn't doing enough on the ground. Slice looks to land a body kick but Mouse moved away. Mouse avoids the head kick by Slice.
Danga de danga de dang - Mouse scores with a four punch combination! Mouse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mouse wants it to stay on the feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Slice looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mouse shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Mouse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mouse swivels and escapes. Mouse misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice stopping the sweep attempt from Mouse. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mouse keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mouse looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mouse being controlled here, momentarily.
 Tekken Slice has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mouse drives through with a takedown into guard. Mouse trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Mouse is stalling in the full guard. Mouse looking to sit in guard and control but Slice gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mouse is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Mighty Mouse was stalling too much, according to the referee. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mighty Mouse will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Slice's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Slice throws a right and a left that Mouse avoids nicely. Mouse tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Slice counters with a two punch combo. Mouse throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mouse scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mouse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mouse off to one side. Nice sprawl there from Mouse as Slice shoots in. Slice dives in for a single leg takedown but Mouse sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mouse blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Slice swings wildly with an uppercut but Mouse uses good head movement to avoid it. Slice is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Mouse is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slice pulls him back up using the underhooks. Slice is trying to push Mouse away but Mouse has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Slice misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Slice has Mouse pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mouse manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mouse tries to work over Slice's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mouse stalls.

Mouse drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slice dives on top into guard. Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Mouse is retaining full guard.

Slice stands and steps away. Mouse gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mouse throws a right hand that Slice ducks under and follows up with a left that Slice also avoids with ease. Slice fails in his attempt to clinch. Tekken Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mouse with a hook. Slice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mouse as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Slice scores with a takedown into Mouse's guard. Mouse wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Slice is now in half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice is trying to control. Mouse wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Slice performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Mouse is looking for a sweep. Slice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mouse is trying to stand back up but Slice is controlling him
Slice wants to free his trapped foot but Mouse is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tekken Slice clearly takes that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from Slice. No joy for Mouse on that attempt. Slice slips a jab and a cross from Mouse.
Slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A solid leg kick lands there for Slice.
Slice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mouse pinned against the cage. Mouse gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mouse lands with a nice body punch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Slice. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mouse is defended easily by Slice. Mouse throws a series of punches but Slice avoids them all with ease. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Slice closes the distance and lands a one-two. Slice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mouse as he avoids it easily.

Slice shoots for a double leg takedown but Mouse sprawls well. He's pushed Slice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

and Slice counters with an inside leg kick. Slice shoots and misses and Mouse counters with a one-two to the body. Mouse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slice closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mouse to the mat! Mouse manages to get full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Slice stops Mouse from standing up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mouse wants to stand up but Slice is controlling him. Slice passes Mouse's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Slice is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Mouse to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Mouse pushes Slice off and gets back to his feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice tries a head kick but it misses.
Mouse stuffs the takedown attempt from Slice. Slice gets slowly back to his feet. Mouse stuffs the takedown. Tekken Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mouse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mouse jabs at Slice's body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slice shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mouse defends it nicely. Mouse misses with a wild combination.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mighty Mouse. Well Mouse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Benitez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Captain Caveman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Caveman cracks Benitez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Good leg kick by Caveman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Timebmb closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fanoogon did well to prevent Timebmb getting side control. Timebmb with the ground and pound but Fanoogon uses the opportunity to regain guard. Timebmb pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fanoogon is keeping the position for now. Fanoogon seems keen to control Timebmb's posture. Fanoogon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fanoogon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Timebmb wants to control from the top but Fanoogon keeps moving. Timebmb postures up in Fanoogon's guard and throws a big left but Fanoogon blocks it. Timebmb not doing a lot at the moment. That was a close second round but I would say that Richie Fanoogon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
