The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tom takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Cop is looking to chop away at Tom's legs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cop. Tom shrugs it off though.
Cop thows a body shot but no joy.
Tom misses with a hook. Cop ducked under it nicely.
A combination from Cop does no damage.
Tom throws out a loose jab but Cop uses good head movement to avoid it.
Good standup being displayed there by Cop as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Flatline Tom has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cop throws a lazy right hand but Tom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A cross from Cop lands.

Cop lands a left and a right that send Tom crashing to the mat, dazed. Cop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cop has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tom is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cop rushes Tom with punches - Tom moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Tom goes down! Cop follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moj Cro Cop!
Flatline Tom spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll come back next time better prepared. he may have won, but i instilled a fear in him when he felt my power.'.

I think Sanchez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Foo Fighters- My Hero. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Venger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dōraku connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Venger scrambles back to his feet.
Venger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Dōraku lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
