The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcus throws a solid leg kick but Southland takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marcus.
Marcus tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Southland is able to avoid easily.
Marcus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheers as Marcus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Southland doesn't seem phased though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Sammy Southland overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
