Graice throws a wild body kick that Tyson sees coming a mile off.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Deeney counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mendes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Deeney defends well and Mendes ends up having to push Deeney into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mendes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Deeney can't fight it off and eventually Mendes manages to take the fight to the floor. Deeney looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
