The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tims. That did some damage!
Thompson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tims circles away.
Thompson shoots for a takedown but Tims saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

I think Navetta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Roger Allan Wade - If You're Gonna Be Dumb. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jake lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Claudio Do Prado has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Jake.
Do Prado throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Jake counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jake tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jake misses with a few strikes there.
Jake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Some wild striking there from Jake.
Do Prado misses with the combination.
Do Prado tries to land a front kick but Jake steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jake ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jake shoots in and drives through. Do Prado sprawls well.
Jake takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Do Prado moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Do Prado pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jake jabs Do Prado right on the nose. Do Prado blinks but takes it well.
Do Prado throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jake counters with a left and a right that stings Do Prado.
Jake moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Claudio Do Prado's cut is getting worse.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jake moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Do Prado misses the shot to the body.
Jake misses with a wild combination.
Do Prado avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jake shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Do Prado as he avoids it easily.
Jake looks gassed!
Jake takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Do Prado lands a left and a right that send Jake crashing to the mat, dazed. Do Prado thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jake is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jake leaves his chin hanging out and Do Prado seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Jake crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Kauri throws a hook but Siloposki blocks it.
Siloposki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kauri moves away.
Kauri misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Siloposki.
Sampsa Siloposki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Siloposki goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kauri misses the shot to the body.
Kauri throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Siloposki on the side of the head.
Siloposki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Siloposki throws a series of punches but Kauri avoids them all with ease.
Kauri throws a looping overhand right but Siloposki ducks down to avoid it.
Siloposki tries to bum rush Kauri with a series of wild strikes but Kauri uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kauri takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nice shot lands for Siloposki.
Kauri fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kauri takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kauri shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kauri takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Siloposki lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kauri throws out a powerful jab.
Kauri throws out a loose jab but Siloposki uses good head movement to avoid it.

A head kick from Siloposki lands but Kauri takes it in his stride.
Sampsa Siloposki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Siloposki lands a front kick.
Siloposki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kauri crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Siloposki - the referee stops the clock and Kauri gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Siloposki. Kauri manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Siloposki lands a high kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Siloposki throws a head kick that half lands.
Kauri moves out of range of the strikes.
Siloposki's corner calls for a 1-2. Siloposki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab lands there for Siloposki.
Kauri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kauri throws an overhand right that lands on Siloposki's shoulder, as Siloposki tries to avoid the shot.
Kauri walks into a left hand.
Siloposki scores with a jab to the jaw.
Good leg kick by Siloposki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kauri looks gassed!
A punch combination from Siloposki misses.
Siloposki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kauri throws a lazy right hand but Siloposki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Siloposki throws a nice head kick!
Kauri misses with a wild combination.
Siloposki lands a big head kick that sends Kauri to the canvas! Siloposki follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
