Nice shot by McGuiness.
McGuiness throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rudokas on the side of the head.
Rudokas shoots in and drives through. McGuiness sprawls well.

Rudokas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McGuiness is trying to defend but Rudokas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rudokas wants to work for an arm triangle but McGuiness is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Gower missing with a left hand there. Barraza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gower takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gower throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gower misses with a looping left.
Gower looks to land a right hand but Barraza moved out of range.
Barraza displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gower throws out the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barraza, as that shot connected.
Barraza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gower.
Gower's coach down at Evil Emp-HEAD HUNTERS FIGHTCLUB ELITE4CHEAP//19COA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gower's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gower misses with a lunging right hand
and Barraza counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Barraza swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gower.

Sy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sy connects with a right hand. Child shakes it off.
Child has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Child.

Sy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Child's guard.
My spies in Basics -LOD- inform me that Sy has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Child wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Child thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Child is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sy is surviving well by controlling Child's body position as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sy tries to reverse the position but Child maintains control.

Sy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Child goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sy turns into him and now he's in Child's guard.
Child could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
