The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naylor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baggins circles away.
Naylor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Naylor fails in his attempt to clinch.
Naylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baggins.
Naylor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baggins pinned against the cage. Baggins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Naylor closes the distance and clinches up with Baggins, looking for a takedown. Naylor pushes Baggins against the cage but Baggins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Istari checks a leg kick.
Il is looking to chop away at Istari's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Il moves out of range of the leg kick from Istari.
Istari checks a low kick from Il.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Istari lands a big head kick that sends Il tumbling to the mat! Istari takes a step backwards and waves Il back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Istari lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Il has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Il and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gudkov pushes down on Ponomarenko's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gudkov content to control rather than advance.

Gudkov wants to work for an arm triangle but Ponomarenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Freak ONature will probably get the nod.
