The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stash throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Stash throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Stash cracks the inside of Docherty's front leg.

Docherty darts in and clinches Stash up against the cage.

Docherty gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stash wants to control but Docherty is keeping busy.
Stash felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stash is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Docherty pulls his head out easily.
Docherty tries to pass to full mount but Stash defends it.

Docherty is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stash is just riding it out for now. Docherty eventually gives up the hold.

Horrible takedown by Vanglski or perhaps it was just good defense by Mabogo which made him look bad.
No joy there for Vanglski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
