Pierre lands a nice shot that snaps The Yard Father's head back.

Sudo Nym had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago misses with a hook. Hall ducked under it nicely.
Hall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Santiago. That did some damage!

Hall sizes up Santiago with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hall clobbers Santiago with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Santiago fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jonathan Hall dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hall swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Santiago.
Santiago is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Santiago defending well as Hall loads up on a big left hand.
Hall throws the left hand but Santiago avoids the punch easily.
Hall misses with a body kick.
Hall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Santiago circles away.
Santiago tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hall defends well and Santiago ends up having to push Hall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Santiago is working for takedown but Hall is calmly controlling the position for now.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Santiago. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Santiago has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hall clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jorge Santiago will probably get the nod.

Hall drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A bone on bone clash there as Santiago blocks the leg kick.
Santiago throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santiago off to one side.
Hall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Santiago dives in for a single leg takedown but Hall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
