Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Victor Santiogo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jameson Perry! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Santiogo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Santiogo.
Santiogo shoots in and gets a takedown into Perry's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Perry looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Santiogo trying to control the position from guard on top but Perry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perry can do anything to dispel that myth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perry is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Santiogo wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Victor Santiogo. Santiogo dives in and grabs Perry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perry pushes down on Santiogo's head and hops out. Santiogo throws a half hearted mid kick. Santiogo lands a front kick. Santiogo looks to score with a jab to the body but Perry is just out of range. Santiogo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Perry looks for a takedown but Santiogo sprawls well. A jab lands there for Santiogo. Perry tries for a takedown but Santiogo circles away easily and Santiogo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Santiogo jabs Perry to the body, keeping him at a distance. Santiogo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perry. Santiogo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Santiogo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Perry takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice jab there from Santiogo. Santiogo stuns Perry with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Santiogo throws a quick inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santiogo digs a good hook to Perry's body.
Perry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Santiogo moves away.
Perry drives through with a takedown into guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Santiogo is breathing heavily. Perry sitting in guard, not really doing much. Perry is working Santiogo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Perry won't allow Santiogo to sweep him here. Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Santiogo is keeping the position for now.

Santiogo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Perry looking to pass the guard. Perry slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Perry cracks Santiogo with a solid left hand. Santiogo working a defensive guard here.

Perry decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Santiogo, up you get! Santiogo slips a jab and a cross from Perry.
Santiogo scores with a shot to the body.
Perry instigates a clinch. Perry taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Perry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Perry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Perry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Perry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santiogo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santiogo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Perry is controlling Santiogo's posture. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santiogo looking to sit in guard and control but Perry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Victor Santiogo will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Santiogo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Perry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Perry avoiding damage.
Perry looking for a takedown. Santiogo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Perry's elbow. Perry drops down looking for an ankle pick but Santiogo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Perry takes a body punch but keeps moving. Perry takes one to the side of the head.
Santiogo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jameson Perry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Santiogo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Perry is breathing heavily. Santiogo connects with a body shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Santiogo lands a right hook to the body.
Santiogo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Perry takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Santiogo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Perry stuffs the takedown. Santiogo tests Perry's chin there with a solid looking shot. Santiogo blocks a head kick by Perry.
Santiogo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Perry dives in for a single leg takedown but Santiogo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Victor Santiogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jameson Perry. Santiogo misses with a punch to the body.

Santiogo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Santiogo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Santiogo scores with a shoulder strike. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perry tries for a takedown. No joy.
Santiogo tries to work over Perry's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Santiogo. Santiogo working aggressively here.
Santiogo lands a damaging elbow.
Perry decides to pull guard. Santiogo stands and throws Perry's legs to the side, diving into side control. Santiogo works to advance to full mount. Perry defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Santiogo wants to control the pace but Perry is squirming around nicely. Perry working to try and regain half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Santiogo trying to control but Perry is having none of it. Perry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Santiogo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Perry is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Perry and Santiogo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Who's going to make the next move? Jameson Perry has got the better of the ground game so far. Perry regains half guard.

Santiogo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Perry slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Perry is controlling Santiogo's posture. Santiogo trying to control but Perry is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santiogo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perry is keeping the position for now. Perry wants to stand but Santiogo is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Santiogo dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Perry shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Perry wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Santiogo uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Perry is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Jameson Perry was stalling too much, according to the referee. Santiogo stuffs the takedown. Perry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A decent looking cross lands there for Santiogo. Santiogo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Santiogo wants it to stay on the feet. Perry shoots in for a takedown but Santiogo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Victor Santiogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jameson Perry. Santiogo lands a nice hook to Perry's body. Perry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Santiogo throws a shot to the body.
Santiogo's corner calls for a 1-2. Santiogo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Santiogo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perry is fending him off so far but Santiogo persists. Nope, Perry circles away and we're back to standing. Santiogo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Santiogo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santiogo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perry is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Santiogo. Santiogo lands a nice shot to the body.
Santiogo digs a good body shot into Perry's ribs. Santiogo scores with a shot to the body.
Santiogo gets the takedown into side control. Santiogo wants to control but Perry is keeping him busy. Santiogo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Perry sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Perry can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Santiogo is looking to take a break and control but Perry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Santiogo tries to move to mount but Perry blocks the move with his legs. You can see the frustration on Perry's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Santiogo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Perry is looking for a sweep.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Santiogo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Perry has escaped the position, nice work there. Santiogo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perry keeps working. Perry manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Victor Santiogo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Perry is doing well to control the position and prevent Santiogo from advancing to side control. Perry flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Santiogo wants to free his trapped foot but Perry is holding on for dear life with his legs. Santiogo is looking to take a break and control but Perry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Victor Santiogo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Santiogo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joseph Pimentel! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pimentel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pimentel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pimentel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silveira as he jumps to the side.
Pimentel closes the distance and pushes Silveira back into the cage. Pimentel blocks the elbow strike.
Pimentel putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Silveira in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Pimentel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pimentel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silveira walks away with a smile on his face. Pimentel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Thiago Silveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Pimentel. Pimentel goes for a double leg but Silveira avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silveira continues to drive forward. Pimentel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silveira prevents it.

Pimentel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Silveira after a bit of a struggle. Silveira tries to circle away but Pimentel has him pinned against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pimentel prevents a body shot from Silveira. Pimentel lands an uppercut. Pimentel jumps guard but Silveira stands there with Pimentel around his waist. Pimentel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pimentel fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pimentel can't get the takedown.
Pimentel lands a hook to the side of the head. Pimentel scores with a knee to the head.
Silveira is trying to maintain a safe position but Pimentel gets an underhook and turns Silveira into the cage. Pimentel blocks a body shot from Silveira. Pimentel effectively controlling the action here.
Pimentel works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Silveira tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pimentel throwing strikes from guard but Silveira blocks nicely. Silveira manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Silveira really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silveira cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silveira jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pimentel manages to avoid the submission attempt. Silveira misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Silveira working the body and head with strikes. Silveira looks up at the clock and then as Pimentel takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Silveira smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Pimentel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silveira wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pimentel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Pimentel is looking to improve his position.
Silveira is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silveira wants to stand but Pimentel has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Silveira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silveira is looking for a kimura here.
Silveira is trying to work for a kimura but Pimentel is defending well.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pimentel pushes Silveira off and gets back to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pimentel. Silveira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pimentel defends it nicely.
Pimentel clinches up against the cage. Pimentel jumps guard but Silveira turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pimentel pressing his opponent against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pimentel closes the distance and clinches. Pimentel lands a body punch. We've been informed that Pimentel has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Pimentel content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Pimentel works on Silveira's body with a couple of short punches. Pimentel lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
 It looks like Thiago Silveira has been cut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Pimentel.
 Silveira is rocked! Pimentel stalling in the clinch.
Oh Silveira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pimentel lands a big knee! That's hurt Silveira! Oh, he's all over the place! Pimentel lands another knee that sends Silveira to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Klien. Klien looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Klien tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pride holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pride pulls guard successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pride is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Klien rolls with it to try and escape but Pride cranks on the arm and Klien is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
