The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blondi throws the left hand but Bresnar avoids the punch easily.

Bresnar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blondi sprawls well initially but Bresnar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

This one could be over very soon! Isaacs goes limp - he's gone! Vick jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Jampo dives in looking to finish as Takaraivo flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Jampo's strikes! Jampo is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Takaraivo's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Takaraivo was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

After winning the bout, Sampo Jampo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
