That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Gregoire.

Gambino is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bob.

Bob fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gambino to the ground. Bob is now in Gambino's guard.

Nanahara has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sagdiyev is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Sagdiyev gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sagdiyev tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Nanahara is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Sagdiyev buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sagdiyev!! Sagdiyev is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Nanahara throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Shuya Nanahara decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
