That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Gregoire.
Well Houssam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Petrenko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hill ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

A jab and a right hook connect and Sagdiyev buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sagdiyev!! Sagdiyev is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Nanahara throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
