Lin throws a right hand that Peligrino ducks under and follows up with a left that Peligrino also avoids with ease.
Peligrino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Peligrino is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lin's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Toney closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adel's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toney loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Toney stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Adel throws up his legs and catches Toney in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Toney tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Adel! That came out of nowhere!

Lagk drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Under manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lagk has Under in his guard.
Under wanted to stand there but Lagk had control of the position.

Under avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lagk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dupree on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Liva. Liva obviously looking to wear him down.
Liva keeps the fight on the outside.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Liva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fighters circling - Dupree throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Liva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A bone on bone clash there as Dupree blocks the leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Liva. Dupree shrugs it off though.
Liva misses with a body shot.
Liva throws a looping overhand right but Dupree ducks down to avoid it.
Liva loads up on a big right hand but Dupree slips the punch.
Liva thows a body shot but no joy.
Dupree throws a head kick but Liva moves out of range.
Liva lands with a nice body kick.
Dupree has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ivan's house of pain [300$] in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Liva drops Dupree with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dupree looks back up at him and smiles so Liva waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Marcus Dupree has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Liva. Dupree does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dupree throws a hook to the side of Liva's head but Liva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Liva misses the shot to the body.
Dupree walks straight into a right hand from Liva - that's dropped him! Liva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Dupree from any more punishment! Dupree complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooke tries to close the distance and clinch up but Threadgood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Threadgood and Cooke goes tumbling to the canvas! Threadgood follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Threadgood seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Threadgood is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cooke defends it well.

Threadgood has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Elite Performance Training Center. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
