Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Jean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestling Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast has chosen Sweet Child O'mine - Guns N' Roses as his entrance music. Jean Jean had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Wrestling Beast has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jean connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beast scrambles back to his feet.

Beast shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beast showed some decent athleticism there.
Beast lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Beast lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beast connects with a nice short shot to Jean's temple.

Freuster shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Batista eats them both and turns towards Freuster to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Joao Batista has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Freuster lands a big right hand that sends Batista crashing to the mat! Freuster stays standing though and waves Batista back to his feet!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Freuster engages and cracks Batista with a massive lead left hook - Batista tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Freuster is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Pholus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ioannidis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
