NcDemomnd is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cordit is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cordit has escaped and now he's on top!
NcDemomnd keeping moving, preventing Cordit from controlling successfully.

Cordit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but NcDemomnd circles away quickly and effectively.

Cordit shoots in and bounces NcDemomnd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

NcDemomnd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cordit got a little sloppy there for a moment and NcDemomnd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cordit has managed to get both his arms back between NcDemomnd's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cordit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. NcDemomnd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

NcDemomnd looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cordit is defending well. NcDemomnd quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cordit has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! NcDemomnd celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcdermott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

NcDemomnd has hold of Mcdermott's hands but Mcdermott slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mcdermott winds up and cracks NcDemomnd with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

NcDemomnd felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Mcdermott is nestled in close to NcDemomnd, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
