The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Young lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ritter circles away quickly and effectively.
Young misses with a body shot.
Young moves in looking to clinch but Ritter pushes him off.
Young tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Young tries to clinch but Ritter is having none of it.
Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Young throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Young will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ritter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Young creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ritter's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ritter drops to his knees and Young pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Toddler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Green moves away.
Toddler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Green has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nights Watch MMA Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Toddler misses with a hook.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Toddler has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Green takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice defenses there by Toddler.
Toddler on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Green. Green obviously looking to wear him down.
Toddler throws the left hand but Green avoids the punch easily.

Terry Toddler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Toddler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Green to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Toddler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Green pulls down on the head and he's put Toddler to sleep! This one is all over!

We've been hearing good reports from Sacana's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Sacana is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Palhares's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Palhares's back!
Sacana throwing strikes and Palhares squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
