The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barros has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barros and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Barros is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gracie flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gracie is out cold! Barros holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby tries to bum rush Timmermans with a series of wild strikes but Timmermans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Timmermans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kirby punishes Timmermans's body with a nice straight punch.
Kirby stuffs the takedown attempt from Timmermans. Timmermans gets slowly back to his feet.

Kirby closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kirby is pressed up against the cage. Timmermans has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kirby down to the mat. Kirby avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Timmermans wants to clinch
and Kirby counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Timmermans looks gassed!

Kirby shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Timmermans is trying to defend but Kirby finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kirby perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kirby passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Timmermans!

Kirby is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Timmermans can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kirby has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Timmermans's face.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Timmermans looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! Grand misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jenkings tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
A head punch on the inside from Grand fails to land.

Grand manages to pull guard.
Jenkings would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jenkings stands and steps away. Grand gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Grand lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Leeroy Jenkings has been cut.
Grand lunges at Jenkings with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jenkings's hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grand is looking to clinch but Jenkings is avoiding it.
Grand tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jenkings was well out of range. Poor timing from Grand.
Jenkings wants to clinch up but Grand keeps it at a distance.
Jenkings drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jenkings darts in trying to clinch
and Grand counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Jenkings falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

kong ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Misza wants to clinch up but kong keeps it at a distance.
kong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Misza on the side of the head.

It looks like Tomasz Misza has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Misza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around kong's waist but kong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Misza off to one side.
Misza is breathing heavily.
kong pushes Misza away with a front kick.
kong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
kong lands with a good body shot.

kong moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Misza goes down! Can kong finish him!?

Misza is rocked!

kong drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says kong as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Misza screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with kong! Nice submission victory there!
