Thomas dives in and grabs Weiss's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weiss pushes down on Thomas's head and hops out.
We've been told by Weiss's head coaches at Steel Penn/Heavy Hands Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thomas fails with the takedown.
Weiss leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Steven Weiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Thomas.

A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
