The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate misses with a looping right.
Clark Channel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tate takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Channel throws a sloppy head kick and Tate moves out of range easily.

Tate shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tate was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
