The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanfield ducks right into an uppercut from Dos Santos.
Dos Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stanfield misses with a straight left.
Stanfield throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stanfield throws out a leg kick but Dos Santos moves out of range and Stanfield only half commits.

Dos Santos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stanfield takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dos Santos is trying to ground and pound but Stanfield uses the momentary lack of control by Dos Santos to regain half guard.

Gamer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ang is landing a low percentage of strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gamer - the referee stops the clock and Ang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gamer. Ang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gamer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ang checks it well.

Gamer swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Gamer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Gamer lands with a hook. Ang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gamer lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Ang head around and knocks him out cold! Gamer hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
