The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Saulo Riberio has been cut.
Zack Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor throws a leg kick but Riberio checks it.
Riberio gets tackled into the cage by Taylor. Taylor maintains the clinch.
Taylor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Taylor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Taylor is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Riberio lets go of the hold and Taylor can pop his arm back in it's socket.

and Rodrigues counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rodrigues.
Miller is trying to pull guard but Rodrigues turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Rodrigues's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rodrigues closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Miller's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Miller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rodrigues is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rodrigues looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rodrigues looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rodrigues!

Miller has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Rodrigues. Oh but Miller has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Rodrigues goes limp - he's gone! Miller jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

After the fight, Tyresse Miller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
