The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Marco Polo has been cut.
Polo looks for a takedown but Kain sprawls well.
Kain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Polo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kain. Kain gets slowly back to his feet.

Kain clinches.
Kain is trying to drag Polo to the mat but Polo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kain manages to break the clinch.

Kain closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
