The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A jab-cross combination lands for Laston and sends Anderson crashing to the mat! Laston follows him down to the mat - Anderson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Stephen Anderson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Osty throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Newhouse's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Osty dives in looking to finish as Newhouse flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Osty's strikes! Osty is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Newhouse's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Newhouse was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Taylor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lucas avoids a kick to the body.

Taylor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lucas is looking to take this one to the mat.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Taylor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Taylor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
