Christopher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nahwatsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Christopher makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nahwatsu really felt that one!

Bei drops Mekk with a beautiful combination! Mekk stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bei is looking for the KO!

It looks like Rasputin Mekk has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mekk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bei's waist but Bei gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mekk off to one side.
Bei connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Mekk to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Bei!

We've been hearing good reports from Carter's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Alaniz here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Alaniz gets to his feet and stands over Andre, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Andre felt that one! Alaniz unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Andre from any more punishment!
