Lewis gets caught flat footed, as Regl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Regl trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lewis wants to sweep here but Regl controlling him for the moment.

Regl tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard.
Regl postures up in Lewis's guard and throws a big left but Lewis blocks it.

Lewis pulls Regl in close to prevent any damage.

Lewis scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Lewis feints and as Regl raises his hands in defense, Lewis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Regl working for a triangle but Lewis defends it easily.
Regl wants to sweep but no luck.

Regl has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis slips nicely into half guard.

Lewis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lewis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Regl is looking for a kimura but Lewis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Regl to get the leverage.
Lewis is concentrating on defense, preventing Regl from advancing position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis wants to get back to his feet.
Regl thows a huge punch but Lewis dodges it nicely.

Regl is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lewis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lewis pushes a forearm under Regl's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Regl is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Alexander connects with a nice cross there... Souza is looking wobbly and Alexander recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Souza to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Alexander jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
