Magellan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Washington closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Washington softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Magellan tries to work over Washington's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Washington breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Washington pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Magellan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Washington swivels and escapes.
Washington connects with a body shot that sends Magellan's belly button to the back.
Washington lands a front kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Magellan.
Magellan misses with a takedown attempt - Washington sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jason Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Magellan.
Magellan looks winded!
Magellan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Magellan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Washington forces Magellan back against the cage and clinches.
Washington lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Washington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Magellan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Washington - the referee stops the clock and Magellan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Washington. Magellan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Washington breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Washington cracks Magellan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Washington has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Magellan to stand back up!

It looks like Ricky Magellan has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Washington feints a jab and as Magellan dips his head, Washington unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Magellan right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Magellan falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Washington smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Finklebaum shoots in for a takedown but Brooks shows good takedown defense.
Brooks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brooks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Finklebaum's calf.
Finklebaum is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Brooks.

Brooks lands a big head kick that sends Finklebaum tumbling to the mat! Brooks takes a step backwards and waves Finklebaum back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Finklebaum is still on wobbly legs! Can Brooks finish him?
Finklebaum shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brooks as he avoids it easily.
Brooks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Finklebaum's hands.
Brooks cracks Finklebaum with a hook to the temple - Finklebaum is on wobbly legs here! Brooks swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Finklebaum falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Brooks wins by TKO!

Grant works the jab nicely.
Grant stalks Lib and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lib's face. Lib staggers backwards, shaken.
Grant lunges at Lib with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lib's hand.
Grant misses the shot to the body.

Lib shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Grant napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lib in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Lib really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grant. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lib thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Grant is trying to improve his position.

Grant is looking for a triangle but Lib pushes his legs off easily.
Lib is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Grant is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lib throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Grant's body to avoid the submission. Grant has instead reached around Lib's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Grant arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Def checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
