The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knife connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ellis's hands.
Knife takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jack Knife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ellis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ellis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ellis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knife connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ellis scrambles back to his feet.

Knife scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
