The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with the left hand. Zacha knows he should have avoided that one.
Zacha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.
Zacha rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Zacha tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zacha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zacha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Zacha keeps moving.
Zacha is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment.

Jones drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jones seems to have locked his on tight now - Zacha screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jones, as he picks up the win!

Barfot doesn't manage to clinch there - Pid circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barfot drops Pid with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pid looks back up at him and smiles so Barfot waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Horrible takedown by Uchimura or perhaps it was just good defense by Gate which made him look bad.

Uchimura throws a nice looking combination but Gate bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Uchimura has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gate after a bit of a struggle.

Uchimura gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gate regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gate has his foot on Uchimura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uchimura works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Uchimura is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gate is just riding it out for now. Uchimura eventually gives up the hold.
