The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebedev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lebedev connects with a high kick.
A jab from Li misses.
Lebedev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li.
Lebedev pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Lebedev has eaten all the pies!

Li drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Li controls the position from side control.
Li working the body and head with strikes.
Li has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lebedev wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Li scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lebedev to see if he's OK.
Li looks up at the clock and then as Lebedev takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Li smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Lebedev wants to get back to his feet but Li drags him back down.
Lebedev takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Li has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Li content just to control the position here.
Li lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Li tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Li has control of Lebedev's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lebedev regains control of the situation pretty easily.

You get the feeling that Lebedev really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Vasily Lebedev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Roberts scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Nikita Veselovsky has been cut.
The fighters circle, before Roberts throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Veselovsky 's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Roberts lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Joey Ryan Roberts was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Lodano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson slips a straight right by Lodano.
Lodano displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson.
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Lodano.
Lucas Lodano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson looks for a takedown but Lodano sprawls well.
Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lodano pinned against the cage. Lodano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lucas Lodano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Johnson.
Lodano misses with a few strikes there.
Lodano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.

Lodano drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Lodano waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Steven Johnson has been cut.
Lodano steps in with a hook that catches Johnson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Lodano follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Johnson looks absolutely devastated.

Banjo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hudson shoots in looking for a takedown but Banjo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hudson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Banjo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hudson misses with a double jab
and Banjo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Banjo takes the fight into the clinch.
Banjo lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hudson.

Banjo pulls guard effortlessly.
Hudson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banjo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Banjo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hudson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Banjo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hudson has managed to get both his arms back between Banjo's legs - danger averted.

Banjo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hudson is controlling him.
Hudson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Hudson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hudson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Banjo!
Banjo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hudson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banjo is bucking up trying to escape but Hudson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hudson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Banjo with him. Banjo is trying to defend but Hudson has an arm under the chin now! Banjo grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Mint tries a head kick but it misses.
Mint tries to close the distance and clinch up but Venture swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Venture closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mint is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mint manages to pull guard.

Venture has gone for a leg lock! Mint slips out almost immediately though and dives into Venture's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Venture is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mint postures up in Venture's guard and throws a big left but Venture blocks it.

Venture escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mint gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Venture working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mint doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mint manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mint drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mint is stalling here. Venture is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mint seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Venture has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Venture is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mint is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mint sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Mint is looking to stand up but Venture isn't so interested in that idea.

Venture explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Venture closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mint quickly recovers to half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bean looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bean throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Butter Bean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Glenn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circling - Nelson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nelson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A jab from Arroyo misses.
Nelson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Arroyo thows a body shot but no joy.
Arroyo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nelson scores with a nice head shot.
Nice takedown defense from Nelson. No joy for Arroyo on that attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nelson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Nelson throws a series of punches but Arroyo moves out of range.
Nelson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Arroyo's head backwards.
Roy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nelson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Arroyo on the side of the head.

Arroyo is rocked!
Nelson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Arroyo to the canvas! Arroyo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Nelson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Bundiac throws an overhand right that lands on Veide's shoulder, as Veide tries to avoid the shot.
Bundiac misses with an uppercut. Veide saw that one coming.
Veide moves forwards but Bundiac connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Veide scores with a nice body kick.
Veide wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Veide lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bundiac takes a step back to recover.
Bundiac is breathing heavily.
Bundiac tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Veide.
Veide lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Veide. Bundiac shrugs it off though.
Veide chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Veide lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Veide pushes Bundiac away with a front kick.
Bundiac chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Veide can pounce on him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Veide scores with a kick to the midsection.
Veide lands a big head kick that sends Bundiac to the canvas! Veide follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

An out of breath Varg Veide thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
