The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh throws a one two combo.
Nahwatsu tries a head kick but it misses.
Buakaw Nahwatsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Singh misses the target.
Nahwatsu scores with a head kick.
Nahwatsu throws a good cross that connects.

Singh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nahwatsu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Singh cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nahwatsu is bucking up trying to escape but Singh cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Singh connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Nahwatsu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Nahwatsu is rocked!
Singh is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Nahwatsu goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Singh!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cole Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flynn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anthem For The Underdog. Nelson has chosen Battle Hymn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Flynn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nelson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nelson tries to bench press Flynn off him but Flynn keeps the position.

Nelson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Nelson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Flynn!

Divisor darts in trying to clinch
and Arghei counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Divisor thinking.
Divisor fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Arghei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Divisor circles away quickly and effectively.
Arghei works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Arghei leaves Divisor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Arghei punishes Divisor's body with a nice straight punch.
Divisor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Arghei is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A combination from Arghei does no damage.
Arghei fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Divisor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Arghei was covering up waiting for the punch and Divisor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Arghei can do anything to dispel that myth.

Divisor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Arghei dives on top into guard.

Divisor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Arghei has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Divisor is proving hard to escape from.

Divisor is looking to cinch up a triangle. Arghei throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Divisor's body to avoid the submission. Divisor has instead reached around Arghei's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Divisor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Damon Macready seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some bone on bone action there as Macready checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

It looks like Average Joe has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Joe.
Joe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Macready avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Macready misses with an uppercut. Joe saw that one coming.
Joe does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Macready lands a big head kick that sends Joe tumbling to the mat! Macready takes a step backwards and waves Joe back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Oh Joe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Joe tries for a takedown but Macready sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Macready moves out of range of the leg kick from Joe.

Damon Macready is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Macready swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Macready just misses with a punch to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Joe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Macready has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Macready and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Macready motions for Joe to come forward. Macready throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Macready misses with a few strikes there.

and Joe counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Macready's guard now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
