Kugmo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kugmo tries to pull guard but Hall holds him up against the cage and eventually Kugmo drops back down to his feet.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dean Hall. Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kugmo takes the fight into the clinch. Hall stalls.

Hall misses with a straight right. Kugmo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Kugmo persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing. Dean Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kugmo.

and Kugmo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Some bone on bone action there as Hall checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kugmo shoots in but Hall avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kugmo has his takedown stuffed
and Hall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hall. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hall slowing the pace effectively. Wating Kugmo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hall seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
And that's the end of the fight! Dean Hall showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Sargent gets caught flat footed, as Cat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cat showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sargent has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cat should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sargent has tightened it up now! Cat should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Freddie Sargent decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercado thows a left - swing and a miss! A punch lands to the side of Clementine 's head but he takes it in his stride.
 It looks like Captain Clementine has been cut. Mercado misses with an uppercut. Clementine saw that one coming. Clementine with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mercado to score with a decent uppercut. Mercado pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mercado throws a lazy uppercut
and Clementine decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mercado's guard. Clementine looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clementine has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mercado wants to get back to his feet but Clementine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Clementine postures up in Mercado's guard and throws a big left but Mercado blocks it. Mercado working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Clementine. Clementine loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Clementine with a flurry of punches that miss. Clementine controlling from the top position.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mercado lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Clementine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mercado. Clementine moves out of range as Mercado strikes. Mercado throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Clementine moves forwards but Mercado connects with a nice, crisp jab. Clementine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jab, jab by Mercado - just one landing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mercado bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Clementine ducks under a wild hook from Mercado. Donk. Mercado catches Clementine right on the button with a cross. Nice defenses there by Clementine. Mercado misses with an uppercut. Clementine ducks right into an uppercut from Mercado.
 Clementine is rocked! Clementine slips under a jab. Oh Clementine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Clementine counters with a shoot takedown. Mercado fights it but they end up in guard. Clementine is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Clementine seems to have got his legs back now. Mercado preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mercado has momentary wrist control but Clementine slips an elbow through the middle. Clementine looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Clementine throws a big elbow that misses. Clementine is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clementine's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Captain Clementine wasn't doing enough on the ground. Clementine slips under a jab from Mercado. Mercado feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clementines jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Mercado throws a jab but it's blocked by Clementine. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mercado throws a jab when Clementine was well out of range. Clementine slips under a jab from Mercado. Mercado connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lucky Mercado will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Captain Clementine's cut. That's time! Clementine's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Clementine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mercado misses with a hook. Clementine ducked under it nicely. Mercado throws out a powerful jab. Clementine takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Clementine staying out of range there. Mercado's corner calls for a 1-2. Mercado obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A jab from Mercado finds it's way through Clementine's defenses. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Mercado! Clementine is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herman lands a head kick. Pearson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Herman lands with a cross. No luck for Pearson with that takedown attempt. Herman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pearson's head. Pearson has a takedown stuffed. Pearson dives in and grabs Herman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Herman pushes down on Pearson's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Pearson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Herman scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Herman lands a slapping body shot.

Herman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pearson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No luck for Pearson with that takedown attempt. Pearson misses with a takedown attempt - Herman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Herman lands with a thumping leg kick.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Herman lands with a slapping head kick. Herman throws a nice inside leg kick. David Herman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Herman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pearson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Herman napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Herman dodges the ground and pound from Pearson. Pearson working the head with strikes. Pearson is looking to take a break and control but Herman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Herman takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pearson cracks Herman with a big elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pearson landing a few strikes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Herman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pearson. Herman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Herman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Pearson is chipping away with strikes.

Pearson looks up at the clock and then as Herman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pearson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

 Herman is rocked! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Pearson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Herman to see if he's OK. Herman is still in real trouble! Can Pearson finish him? Herman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pearson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Herman looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Pearson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paw throws a series of punches but Joe avoids them all with ease.
Joe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Paw wants to sweep but no luck.
Paw has his feet on Joe's thighs here. He's pushed Joe off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Joe screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Hokkanen looking to score a takedown here. Burma is defending well but Hokkanen drives through and ends up in Burma's guard. Hokkanen is stalling in the full guard. Hokkanen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burma avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Burma will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hokkanen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hokkanen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hokkanen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hokkanen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burma works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Burma working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hokkanen. Burma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hokkanen on the ground. Hokkanen is pushing down on Burma's leg trying to pass to half guard. Burma is fighting to maintain full guard but Hokkanen has managed to sneak the leg through. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
