The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson misses with a takedown attempt - Collins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Watson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Collins quickly recovers to half guard.
Collins has hold of Watson's hands but Watson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Watson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Watson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Watson is working for a kimura but Collins is defending it quite comfortably.

Griffin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Marconi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Marconi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Griffin avoids it really well and circles away.
