The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sackett throws out the jab.

Sackett drops Yamamoto with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Yamamoto looks back up at him and smiles so Sackett waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Yuki Yamamoto has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yamamoto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sackett has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sackett and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Lopette counters with a head kick that drops Hardy to the mat! Hardy scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Hardy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lopette walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hardy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lopette swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hardy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
