Rivas gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rivas is trying to control the position but Thorsen postures up.

Thorsen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Rivas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thorsen as he avoids it easily.

Thorsen lands a left and a right that send Rivas crashing to the mat, dazed. Thorsen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rivas is rocked!

It looks like Ramon Rivas has been cut.
Rivas is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thorsen feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Rivas crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Fury wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morrison lands a jab-cross combination.
Morrison explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Morrison shoots in but no luck this time.
Fury throws a combination that misses

so Morrison counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Morrison forces his way into half guard.
Fury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morrison works his foot free and advances to mount.

Morrison has hold of Fury's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fury manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fury is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Morrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Fury looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Morrison! Submission of the night perhaps?
