The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dro Cop shoots in looking for a takedown. Paulsen tries to sprawl out of it but Dro Cop keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paulsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paulsen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dro Cop sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kukanov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Savage.
Savage with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Savage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kukanov at a distance.
Savage tries to bum rush Kukanov with a series of wild strikes but Kukanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Savage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage lands a brutal head kick. Kukanov looks out on his feet and Savage throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Samedov closes the distance and clinches up with Zangiev, looking for a takedown. Samedov pushes Zangiev against the cage but Zangiev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zangiev.

Zangiev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Andrei Zangiev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zangiev. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Imman stalling in the clinch but Woods improves position.

Woods connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Imman tumbling to the canvas! Woods pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Imman was done - good stoppage!

Ramanujam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balkan circles away quickly and effectively.
