Don Pierre rushes Augusto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Don Pierre is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Augusto can't fight it off and eventually Don Pierre manages to take the fight to the floor. Augusto looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witcher feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Batista's calf.
Witcher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Batista is fending him off so far but Witcher persists. Nope, Batista circles away and we're back to standing.
Witcher throws a head kick that misses.
Witcher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Witcher shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Witcher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Batista does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Witcher is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Batista to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Batista shrugs it off.

Batista lands a left and a right that send Witcher crashing to the mat, dazed. Batista thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Batista connects with a body shot that sends Witcher's belly button to the back.
Oh Witcher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Belfort throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Caston might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Oooooh!!! Blackfyre has knocked Caston down with a huge combo! Blackfyre steps away and waves a wobbly Caston back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Blackfyre walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Caston drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Blackfyre swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Caston's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Nunes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
