The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A head kick lands from Lakopa that sends Mic to the canvas. Mic tries to scramble back to his feet but Lakopa brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Ken Mic has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lakopa tries to move to full mount but Mic actually manages to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
