and Lakanik counters with a head kick that drops Jurcina to the mat! Jurcina scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Lakanik throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lakanik takes a swing at Jurcina's ribcage but misses.

John Lakanik spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Charm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mars kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare. Lucky Charm struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
