McQuade ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A solid body kick from McQuade.

McQuade lands a big head kick that sends Cent tumbling to the mat! McQuade takes a step backwards and waves Cent back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cent is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cent loses concentration momentarily and McQuade pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cent crashes face first to the mat, out cold! McQuade finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Oh but Red is tightening it up a little... Balls has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Balls reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Balls taps out! Nice BJJ there by Red!

Bunga feints a jab promting Comblin to slip. Bunga then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Comblin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Bunga makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bunga connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Comblin tumbling to the canvas! Bunga pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Comblin was done - good stoppage!

Springs's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer tries to bum rush Meech with a series of wild strikes but Meech uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Killer is still on wobbly legs! Can Meech finish him?
Meech misses with a double jab.
Meech will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Meech lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Killer out cold! Killer is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Steele bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Steele looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Steele smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steele is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jones to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jones shrugs it off.

Wilson cracks Bisping with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wilson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bisping to stand back up!

Brogue wants to stand up but Toke has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Toke is pressing down on Brogue's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Toke is on top in guard.
Toke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis throws a looping overhand right but Heed ducks down to avoid it.
Pettis works the jab nicely.
Pettis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Heed defends it nicely.
Heed with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pettis to score with a decent uppercut.
Pettis jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pettis moves in looking to clinch but Heed pushes him off.
Heed keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pettis.
Heed tries for a takedown but Pettis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Heed has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pettis.
A head kick misses from Pettis.
Pettis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Heed paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Heed is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pettis.

Heed checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Pettis is looking for a sweep. Heed is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Heed thows a huge punch but Pettis dodges it nicely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Heed cracks Pettis with a solid left hand.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Heed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Heed throwing strikes from guard but Pettis blocks nicely.
Heed with a flurry of punches that miss.

Heed with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Pettis is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Heed rolls with it to try and escape but Pettis cranks on the arm and Heed is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
