The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Horvat. That one must have hurt.
Horvat pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Horvat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horvat moves in looking to clinch but McCall pushes him off.
Horvat throws a front kick that sends McCall stumbling back into the cage.
McCall wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Horvat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Horvat.
Horvat lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and McCall counters with a left and a right that stings Horvat.
John McCall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tse can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Tse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Warner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tse is doing well to control the position and prevent Warner from advancing to side control.

Warner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tse sees it coming and defends easily.

Jay Warner opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
