Ko comes to the cage accompanied by DJ Khaled - All I do is win. Freedom is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Star Spangled Banner. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jhogo Ko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 3, fighting out of New York, Chip Freedom!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko shoots in for a takedown but Freedom shows good takedown defense.
Ko dives in and grabs Freedom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Freedom pushes down on Ko's head and hops out.
Ko avoids the body shot from Freedom.
Ko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freedom but Freedom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jhogo Ko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A good leg kick by Freedom.
Ko takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ko looks for a takedown but Freedom sprawls well.
Freedom cracks Ko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ko jumps guard but Freedom stands there with Ko around his waist. Ko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Freedom lands a really nice looking cross but Ko seems unphased.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ko. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Freedom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Ko is rocked!

Freedom feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ko sprawling to the canvas! Ko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Freedom finish him?!
Oh Ko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freedom jabs at Ko's body.
Freedom lands a big right hook! Ko looks hurt but is still standing! Freedom lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Ko falls down and Freedom dives in with a huge hammer fist! Ko's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Freedom runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chip Freedom!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pwnasaurus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex's entrance music is The Forest. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Pwnasaurus Rex has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pwnasaurus Rex seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Soze tries to keep at a distance but Rex has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rex has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Soze is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rex tries to score a body lock takedown but Soze shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rex is trying to break free.

Soze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Soze scores with a nice head shot.
Rex fails with a takedown attempt.

Kaiser Soze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rex shoots for a double leg takedown but Soze sprawls well. He's pushed Rex's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rex closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Soze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rex does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rex is looking to control Soze's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rex avoid being mounted?
Rex is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Soze is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Rex takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rex shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Soze sprawls well. Soze wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rex gets slowly back to his feet.
Rex will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Soze tries for a takedown but Rex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Soze misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rex shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Soze counters with a stiff right hand.

Nice takedown defense from Soze. No joy for Rex on that attempt.
Soze scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Soze is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Rex has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Soze's face.
Rex misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Rex wants to control the pace but Soze is squirming around nicely.

Soze is desperately trying to improve his position but Rex has a good base and remains in mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pwnasaurus Rex.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rex, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

David throws a series of punches but Shain moves out of range.
David moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
David looks to throw the jab but Shain is out of range.
Shain's hands are dropping dangerously low here and David connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shain scrambles back to his feet.
Shain lands with a shot to the body.
Shain throws the left hand but David avoids the punch easily.
David lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Shain connects with a crisp jab.
Shain tries to land a front kick but David steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Prime feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Naji sprawling to the canvas! Naji rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Prime finish him?!
