Place misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Place shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Collins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A cross from Collins lands.
Collins takes a swing at Place's ribcage but misses.

Collins rushes Place and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Collins is struggling to control the position.
A head punch on the inside from Place fails to land.
Collins managing to block the knees to the body from Place.

Collins manages to break the clinch.
Collins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Collins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Place's head backwards.
Place moves out of range as Collins strikes.

Collins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Place pulls guard effortlessly.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Place has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Collins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Collins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Place has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Collins has managed to get both his arms back between Place's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Place gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Place tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Collins is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Place buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Place!! Place is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Collins throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Nice sprawl there from Huone as Booey shoots in.
Huone throws a series of strikes that have Booey backpedaling.

Booey is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Huone can't fight it off and eventually Booey manages to take the fight to the floor. Huone looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McRandy tries to bum rush Spiduhmon with a series of wild strikes but Spiduhmon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spiduhmon throws a low kick but it's checked well by McRandy.
McRandy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McRandy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spiduhmon swivels and escapes.
Spiduhmon looks to land a body kick but McRandy moved away.
A head kick misses from Spiduhmon.

Spiduhmon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
