The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clam Digger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kawasaki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clam Digger's waist but Clam Digger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kawasaki off to one side.

and Clam Digger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kawasaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Clam Digger.
Lee Kawasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kawasaki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clam Digger avoids it really well and circles away.
Terrance Clam Digger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Kawasaki.

Kawasaki tries to clinch up but Clam Digger pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kawasaki to the mat! Kawasaki covers up and Clam Digger unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
