Bone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Junakovic pinned against the cage. Junakovic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Matah thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Matah throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fisher works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Matah pushes down on Fisher's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Matah wants to pass the guard but Fisher is defending well.

Matah wants to work for an arm triangle but Fisher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fisher won't allow Matah to pass to mount.
Fisher is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Matah is trying to control. Fisher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Matah uses his free foot to push down on Fisher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fisher.

Matah is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fisher is forced to tap! Great finish!

Cama leaves Hope with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hope looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cama is fending him off so far but Hope persists. Nope, Cama circles away and we're back to standing.
Hope fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cama avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew Hope. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cama lands a big head kick that sends Hope tumbling to the mat! Cama takes a step backwards and waves Hope back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hope is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Cama.

and Cama counters with a good low kick that Hope was not able to check.
Hope fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Cronkite changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jonsson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jonsson tries to buck Cronkite off but Cronkite is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cronkite wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jonsson, who protects the arm well.

Cronkite creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jonsson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gionathan tries to avoid it but Panda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gionathan to the ground. Gionathan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Lorenzo Gionathan will probably get the nod.
