The East misses with a takedown attempt - Devaney sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The East throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Devaney tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The East is in Devaney's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Devaney utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Devaney is looking to stand up but The East isn't so interested in that idea.

The East is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The East postures up in Devaney's guard and throws a big left but Devaney blocks it.

Devaney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The East. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The East drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The East jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The East sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Devaney's guard.
The East throws a strike but Devaney avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Devaney wants to get back to his feet but The East is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kharlamov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bennett taps out and this one is all over!
