Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hans Lankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyler Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lankari might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Nelson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by One. Skyler Nelson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lankari bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Lankari tries for a kimura but Nelson is defending well.
Nelson is looking to regain half guard here but Lankari keeps moving and retains side control.
Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nelson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lankari's best efforts.
Nelson is refusing to be controlled, as Lankari sits in half guard.
Nelson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Brave tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cruz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
